“Connect before you correct” Attachment focused parenting workshop.
We are born into this world as part of a family consisting of a mother and a father. Nested in our parents’ hands we learn the essence of connection, the nature of emotion, and the ability to trust. Supported by our first loving relationships we dare to make first steps into this big world. And these relationships influence our lives thereafter.
Attachment insecurity can result either in timidity (a passive state) or in aggression (an active state), in most cases behind both types of behavior you can find anxiety and insecurity. When you look at your child who is angry and rebellious, for example, who shouts out “you don’t love me at all” after you tried to discipline him or her, imagine fragile and scared child hiding behind this wall of anger.
This workshop is aimed at all parents, who wish to understand their children's needs for a better emotional connection and relationships security.
