“Mysteries of a teenage brain” A workshop on Adolescents (12-24)
Adolescence, the bridge between childhood and adulthood, is a period most of the parents are scared of and would prefer to skip it. Raging hormones and immaturity are the common myths about teenagers. The key to the understanding of this period is the development of the brain. Join me to discover the mysteries of an adolescent brain and varieties of an adolescent self.
A presentation and a short discussion are meant to understand how processes in the brain shape the body and determine what kind of adults our kids may become.
For parents and grandparents of teenagers (present and future). If you have specific questions, you are welcome to contact me per email firstname.lastname@example.org beforehand, and I will include the answers to my presentation.
