In July, six members met for a morning tour of the Speicherstadt area. Our very own Birgit Schrumpf shared her knowledge of the history and development of the Speicherstadt with us. After exploring the area by foot, we took a break in the Speicherstadtmuseum, where in addition to refreshments, we also learned more about the transport and storage of goods. We were joined on the tour by a reporter from NDR who interviewed us about the upcoming US election. Thanks, Birgit, for organizing this lovely morning!
