The month of March is designated as a month in which to celebrate the contributions and achievements of women throughout American history. Over the course of the coming month, the AWCH will be highlighting a number of women who have been chosen by our members to celebrate this year’s theme of "Women Providing Healing, Promoting Hope". Some of the women who will be featured are well-known historical figures, while others are more personal choices; friends or family members who work in healing and caring in its many forms. We hope you’ll be inspired by these women’s stories, their innovations, their courage, and their commitment to improving the lives of those around them and sustaining hope for the future.
