Starts September 16
In a remote romantic cabin snuggled in the pristine snows of Sweden, Jack (George Clooney) and his female friend enjoy a romp and roll followed by a walk in the surrounding woods. They spy footprints causing Jack to reach for his gun. Shots ring out and before the opening credits three people are dead. The lone survivor, Jack, hits the road. He telephones his contact who helps him flee to a lovely village in Italy where he accepts his next assignment. He must custom build an assassin’s rifle for mysterious Belgium beauty Mathilde (Thekla Reuten).
Jack befriends the local priest Father Benedetto (Paolo Bonacelli) who also has something to hide and inadvertently helps him procure what he needs to do the job. He hooks up with voluptuous Clara (Violante Placido), a local prostitute and finds more than just sexual satisfaction in her knickers.
The locations are absolutely gorgeous and set the scene for a slow paced film with predictable predicaments. So much up close face time with Clooney sans sexy smile may appeal only to avid fans but there is the bonus of his bare bottom!
