Directed by Jake Kasdan, the main character is Cameron Diaz, a great actress, which this film is not. Well, actually, she has also been capable of nonsense films like The Sweetest Thing which was even worse than Bad Teacher. The screenplay is an insult to teachers.
Cameron plays a woman whose sole aim in life is finding a man to support her expensive habits. She decides that, having big tits, it will be not problem to find a suitable man and she will go to any extreme to get her future enlarged. She is not evil, but worse, she just doesn’t care and shows no interest in anybody but herself. She uses drugs and sleeps her hangover off in class whiles showing films instead of teaching her students. The “good” teacher colleague, who says, referring to her students, “They learn from me as much as I learn from them” and appears to practice a very dedicated life as a teacher, unfortunately becomes a Syco by witnessing Cameron’s negative attitude towards teaching, witnessing Cameron steal money from her students and finding evidence of state exam fraud, amongst others. In the end Cameron will not only get away will it all, but she is promoted to student advisor so that she can set an example to future generations in that school. In general, the funny moments were scarce; it is a big disappointment sorry to say.
