Directors: Helena Ahonen and Max Andersson, Sweden

Just a few days before the opening of FFHH 2013, Tito on Ice won the Grand Prize for feature film at the Ottawa International Animation Film Festival! Tito on Ice is totally entertaining, combining unique torn paper black and white animation sequences with color documentary footage.

Swedish directors Helena Ahonen and Max Andersson spoke at the Studio Cinema after the viewing on September 30. They both now live in Berlin, where Helena has a shop and sells hats which she designs. Max is presently finishing his latest comic book (his comics are also available here in German at Comicladens) before starting his next film, a short film in Kodachrome.(Nancy Tillitz)
