In this movie the audience is faced with human rudimentary and inscrutable moral abyss. Though The Wolf of Wall Street is classified as a comedy and makes one laugh tears, the shocking obscenity and explicit depiction of drug abuse, sex and fraud, makes it almost an instrument of catharsis for the viewer.
The Wolf of Wall Street taught me two things: 1) you are only as good as the people you spend time with, and 2) never use expired drugs. Dear Oscar Committee, please, please shower this movie and especially Martin Scorsese with lots of awards! ( )
