Although Jurassic World can’t hold a candle to its predecessor Jurassic Park, it does at least pays homage to the historical past through one of the main controllers on board in the park. This controller, while wearing an old Jurassic T-shirt that he bought at a yard sale and who has a collection of traditional dinosaurs covering his desk top, basically forewarns the group that the park is to self-destruct. After twenty two years, Jurassic Park is re-erected into a full-scale theme park which has been very successful in meeting its quota every year but that means new exhibits need to be created every year and this year a new species is about to be introduced thanks to bio-engineering. This spooky albino creature is not only large in scale but is extremely fast and can camouflage itself making for a deadly predator. It also lacks any kind of social ability since it was isolated for years.
The story opens with two brothers being sent off due to their parents’ separations and they are not enthusiastic about spending quality with their Aunt Beth (Howard) who basically has no time for them either. Beth turns out to be a strong female heroine and is equal to the handsome hero Owen, who has keen abilities in animal behavior. The digital dinosaurs are come from all directions while the spectators are slowly being eaten in every scene. The film is a bit kitschy but keeps us in the mood for some summer fun. It is certain to be a box office hit, which is not due to the script but because everyone loves a dinosaur story and an adrenal rush to back it up. ()
