Eric Gravel, the French Canadian, now living in France, director / writer of his debut film, CRAH TEST AGLAÉ, gave the appearance of a young Woody Allen buried under heavy eyeglasses, cap, and big, pocketed, long jacket with his delicate hand gestures and declared appreciation of beauty. He talked shortly about his girl road movie, a wacky comedy with a twist, filmed in France, Poland, Kazakhstan and India. It was actually filmed in 2015, but shelved until this year: “It was hard to pitch this film.”
