This surprising thriller is about Sophie (Skyler Davenport) a now blind, previously elite skier who is trying to find a new path in life. Sophie, not yet sure where or what she wants after the accident, has started working as a house sitter to a wealthy clientele. Apart from the cat sitting Sophie has also taken to stealing from her clients to supplement her income.
At her latest job, Sophie finds herself alone, without a friend to call, and accidentally locked out of the house. She remembers the app – SEE FOR ME – her mother pushed on her before she left and voilà, Kelly (Jessica Parker Kennedy) a former soldier, and now a virtual pair of eyes comes into her life. Kelly isn’t the only one who comes into Sophie’s life; as the night closes in, she is confronted by the realisation that the house has been broken into by a gang of professional thieves searching for a hidden safe. They are armed and dangerous and with Kelly’s help, she must navigate the house and outsmart the thieves, if she wants to live until the morning.
Definitely on the edge of your seat moments with twists and turns in the story as the night unfolds. This film was screened as part of the ‘Thrill’ category of the BFI London Film Festival, “nerve-shredders that will get your adrenalin pumping and keep you on the edge of your seat”. This film delivered that! Enjoy! (
