Join us this autumn as we get to know "Der Freischütz" by Carl Maria von Weber!
This work is truly the ultimate inspiration for German "romantic" operas. Its innovation, colors, rich poetry, and supernatural elements led German opera into a whole new sphere of imagination and brilliance. At three monthly meetings, we will discover the opera's music, text, composer, the Staatsoper performers, and so much more. Meetings are free and held in Hamburg-Poppenbüttel on Friday mornings.
