We are starting another round of work on the AWCH Heart Pillow Project. We will be cutting out, sewing and stuffing pillows that will be donated to breast-cancer patients at local hospitals. When placed under the arm, these pillows help alleviate pain due to surgery and other procedures.

If you enjoy being crafty in a group and need to get your charity fix, come join us! This is an open house event starting at 15:00 and ending as part of our regular Stitch n Bitch meeting at 22:00, so come when you can and stay as long as you can.

Bring your sewing machines, needles, a snack or drink, and a smile.

The AWCH has donated almost 900 pillows to various hospitals in the Hamburg and Lübeck area. Help us continue this good work.
