Details: Women's Circle - Love, Close Relationships and Health A workshop on adult romantic relationships, mental health and happy well-being ever after
When you are married outside your own culture and residing outside your country of citizenship, women may experience stressors connected with both cultural transition and family adaptation. This may result in feelings of grief, sadness and anxiety. The psychological stress may affect other systems of the body, including the immune system which has a direct impact on health. The goal of the workshop is to understand how relationships, and feelings of safety and connection as well as their absence, may influence health and disease. In the second part of the workshop, we will cast a glance at LOVE and how to make loving relationships work.
