Zero Waste Walking Tour
Join the Environmentally Mindful team for a zero-waste walking tour of Eimsbüttel! What is “zero waste” you ask? Well, a zero-waste lifestyle is a set of principles by which individuals and communities focus on eliminating waste from daily life. In addition to the Environmentally Mindful team’s “Tips for Tuesday” initiative on Facebook, where we provide tips and tricks to live a more meaningful zero waste life, we want to show you the stores in your neighbourhoods that focus on this key principle. For the tour, we will begin at the grocery store Bio.lose, walking next to a new vintage store, Fabulously Old Things, and finally ending our tour at Monger Deli & Café for a short discussion and reflection on our outing. The one-hour tour aligns with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal #12: responsible consumption and production. Guests of our members are welcome. We hope to see you there! |
