Details: World Refugee Day: Hanseatic Help Tour
With its motto “together we heal, shine and learn”, we are honoring World Refugee Day by visiting our local charity, Hanseatic Help. Join your AWCH friends in person again to hear the exciting story of the organization’s founding in 2015 by Hamburg volunteers to manage helping hands and donations supporting the huge influx of refugees in Germany at that time. The director of logistics, Manu Szepan, will guide us through the warehouse facility in Altona and tell us how Hanseatic Help now supplies refugee camps throughout the world in addition to numerous organizations in Hamburg supporting the needy.
