Details: Zero Waste Walking Tour
Join the Environmentally Mindful team for a Thanksgiving themed zero-waste walking tour of Eppendorf. What is “zero waste” you ask? Well, a zero-waste lifestyle is a set of principles by which individuals and communities focus on eliminating waste from daily life, we want to show you the stores in your neighbourhoods that focus on this key principle. For the tour, we will begin at a women’s flohmarkt event at the Eppendorf Art Clinic, walking next to the grocery store LOKO – unverpackt, and finally ending our tour at SOUL vegan coffee bar for a short discussion and reflection on our outing. For the Thanksgiving theme, we ask each participant to bring a sustainable idea for decorations or recipes to share with the group. Our one-two hour tour aligns with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal #12 responsible consumption and production.
