"Greetings ladies! This is your chance to participate in an English-language tour of the Ahrensburg Palace, erected sometime around 1585.
There is currently also an exhibit in the palace museum of the work of North German Impressionist Ernst Eitner, a founding member of the Hamburg Artists’ Club in 1897. Though we won’t have a tour of that exhibit, it is included in the price of admission and there is a brochure available in English.
The event is scheduled for Sunday, October 23 at 1:00 p.m., and will cost €14. We need 10 to 15 participants to make it happen.

There are various ways to get to Ahrensburg, located just across the border from Hamburg in lovely Schleswig-Holstein.
1. Carol H. is looking to get a bicycling group together.
2. I will meet anyone who’d like to come by train on the platform at the Ahrensburg station. It’s just about a 20-minute trip on the Regionalbahn from Hamburg Hauptbahnhof, and a 15-minute walk from the Ahrensburg train station to the palace.
3. There is a (non-historically accurate) parking lot in front of the palace.
