| Details: Join other AWCH members for a NABU-guided birdwatching tour!
This guided tour, organized by NABU & conducted in German, highlights the extraordinary biodiversity of birds at theLoki-Schmidt-Garden. The garden is absolutely beautiful! With its more than 24 acres and the varied landscape of open spaces, large solitary trees, flower and vegetable beds, bushes, small pieces of forest and interconnected waters, the gardens offers food and breeding opportunities for many bird species. More than 50 bird species have been detected in the garden. If your schedule doesn't fit this date, NABU has two more tours scheduled in May! See more information here. DetailsWhat: Guided birdwatching tour in German operated by NABU. Please bring binoculars! When: Friday, April 19, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Cost: Admission is free, but donations to NABU are welcomed. Where: Loki-Schmidt-Garden (Botanical Gardens of the Universtiy Hamburg) on Ohnhorststraße, opposite the Klein-Flottbek S-Bahn station. Meeting point: Outside of the visitor entrance at 5:50 p.m. How to get there: S1 line; parking onsite and across the street near station. Please RSVP so that we can watch for you. This is a public tour, so guests are welcomed. |
