Celebrate American Independence Day
with AWCH & AmerikaZentrum

Our annual US Independence Day party is a celebration not to be missed! Join your AWCH friends for an afternoon of festivities, including sub sandwiches, guided art tours, a musical performance by the AWCH Songbirds, a dessert competition, games, and fun. Families are welcome! 

Entry: Tickets are 10€ per member (& 1 guest); or 15€ per family. Please transfer your payment to AWCH when you RSVP. 

Art tour: We will have 2 private guided art tours, in English, of the current Deichtorhallen exhibits. One tour is at 3:00, and the other is at 4:00. 

Food: AWCH will provide sandwich fixings and a few sides. If you have a favorite American dish -- baked beans? potato salad? -- feel free to bring it to share! Soft drinks and water are available for purchase (cash only), otherwise BYOB (bring your own beer)! 

Dessert competition: Whip up your best summer dessert recipe and prepare to wow the crowd! We will have awards for some fun and silly categories. Bring something tasty to share for a sweet celebration. 

Tableware: For a more sustainable event, please bring plates, utensils, and cups for you and your family from home. 

Venue: This party will be held indoors at the Deichtorhallen art museum. When you arrive, please let them know you are attending the AWCH event.
