Terracotta Army Exhibit in Hamburg 

Over 2,000 years ago, the first emperor of China - Shi Haun Di - ordered a unique monument to be erected. He had a mausoleum of divine excess built for himself. Together we will experience the magic of the Terracotta Warriors, the impressive terracotta army created more than 2200 years ago.

Now a display in Hamburg focuses on this incredible monument. With 170 exhibits, including 150 artfully detailed and faithful terracotta figures, you can expect an impressive representation of an ancient army. Discover infantrymen, cavalrymen, archers, officers, generals as well as horses and chariots. Informative graphics and film clips offer insights into the era of the first emperor and his monumental grave, surrounded by the terracotta army. In addition, various models and texts illustrate the uniqueness of location, formation, and the discovery of these historical treasures.
