Over a century since its founding, the MAERZ Artists Association from Linz, Austria, will visit Hamburg this May for two weeks.

They will be collaborating with artists from Westwerk, creating new works in and for the city. Westwerk is a vibrant arts community on the Fleetinsel, known for its experimental projects and artist-run spirit.

The fresh creation inspired by Hamburg will be curated by Anja Ellenberger, an art and film historian familiar to many of us through her insightful AWCH tours at the Hamburger Kunsthalle and Bucerius Kunst Forum.
