The second of the Art Group’s new series of short, 1-hour Zoom events will focus on the paintings of Alice Neel (1900-1984) another great 20^th-century American artist. Following up on the AWCH tour of the wonderful exhibition of Neel’s art at the Deichtorhallen several years ago, we will watch a 30-minute, curator led filmed tour of the current exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, Alice Neel: People Come First. After the film, art historian Holly T. and artist Cornelia T. will lead a discussion of Neel’s art and life. All AWCH members welcome!
