Join the FAWCO Target Team in Celebrating the International Day of the Girl Child

The FAWCO Target Team, in cooperation with the Tanzania Development Trust, will host a screening of the award-winning documentary film In the Name of Your Daughter on Saturday, October 9 at 7:00 pm CET. This film is about some of the bravest girls in the world—Tanzanian girls as young as eight who risk everything to escape female genital mutilation (FGM).

The FAWCO Target Project S.A.F.E. (Safe Alternatives for FGM Elimination) is run by Hope for Girls and Women Tanzania (HGWT), directed by Rhobi Samwelly. She and some girls from HGWT will join for a Q&A following the screening.
