To celebrate Women's History Month this March, several of our groups will be hosting events that complement our main event "Women in Leadership" on March 30th. We look forward to seeing you at these virtual events!
The SDG Team from FAWCO is asking members to strike the #ChooseToChallenge pose in a call to action to raise awareness of against bias, celebrating women's achievement, and taking action for equality. For more information see our February 28 Newsletter. Deadline for submissions to Julia R-B is March 5.
The film group will be discussing the "On the Basis of Sex," a 2018 legal drama based on the life of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Ginsburg won five landmark cases on gender equality in the US Supreme Court, based on the protections of the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment. She was the second female justice to serve on the US Supreme Court.
